It's only Natural - create wire flowers & grasses

Join us for an original workshop creating wire flowers and grasses.

Fine, flexible wire is a lovely material to work with, enabling you to create characterful objects with a drawn-like quality.

Our tutor for this lovely workshop will be Liz Wellby.

Liz will help you explore joining techniques, wrapping, shaping and sculpting wire, whilst creating a number of decorative outcomes, including a posy and button hole of tiny wire flowers and an ornamental garland, all inspired by flowers, leaves and grasses.

Set in the inspirational surroundings of WeaveMadeIt at Cromford Mill and including all materials, homemade cake and refreshments, this workshop will be a wonderful treat!

You just need to bring along the following on the day:

  • . a small box/basket (margarine tub sized) to carry your work home.

  • . images of grasses and wild flowers.

  • . jewellery pliers (optional).

  • . apron (optional).
